Focus: Art of Self Healing

Intent: To facilitate optimal function and comfort in the body. 
 As integrative practice based on the five developmental stages humans experience from the embryo to walking, Nia 5 Stages supports your body holistically to sustain mobility, flexibility, strength, agility and stability. 

CONSIDER EXPANDING YOUR EXPERIENCE TO A 1, 2 or 3 night RETREAT.

Practiced with awareness, these stages have the power to facilitate optimal alignment, improved function, energy flow and comfort in the body

Nia 5 Stages Training provides you with tools to deeply embody the practice and to facilitate a Nia Stages class, workshop or private session experience. Whether a Nia teacher, movement practitioner, somatic educator, health professional, yoga teacher or individual seeking healing, this IN PERSON, 3 Day retreat provides a new skill set to add to your realm of expertise and practice.

TRAINING DETAILS:

This 3 day retreat provides you with an immersive, healing experience to embody the Nia 5 stages as your personal practice and to have the skills, tools and resources if you desire to teach. You will receive a complimentary, additional online resource course, with homework and activities, to deepen your understanding of the concepts and principles presented. The homework is optional.

ABOUT HELEN

Helen has a Royal Society of Arts Certification in Exercise to Music and a B. Ed. (Hons) in Physical Education. She immigrated to the US in 1990, as an International Teaching Fellow, to complete her master's degree (M.Ed.) in Exercise Physiology. Helen is a 2nd degree Nia Black belt teacher and international trainer. Helen is also a Certified Body Ecologist and a Dance Therapy Specialist, with extensive experience in Authentic Movement and Nia 5 Stages of Healing.

Spend time around Helen and you will learn something, receive inspiration, and garner support for your dreams and desires (not to mention be highly entertained by her loving sense of humor and English-Texan accent, which many mistake for Australian.)
